About Chavie Brumer, LCSW, MBA
I believe in trust, integrity, honesty, respect, ethics, boundaries, as well as clear communication and expectations.
1) As A Therapist
With degrees in Psychology (1995) and Social Work (1997), I first immersed myself in the fields of individual, family, group and trauma therapy, serving a variety of ages, cultures and populations in a respectful, non-judgmental and safe way, including foster children/parents, multi-challenged families, at risk teens, child/adult trauma, loss/grief, relationships and end of life care. See what training my integrative approach draws from in the list below. I believe that my training and ability to be in-tune with my clients are what help me facilitate better coping and healing.
2) As a Supervisor and Leadership Consultant
I advanced as a clinical supervisor, aiding therapists, case managers and school counselors to gain deeper insight into their work. I grew into management and organizational consulting, and, more knowledgeable with an MBA degree, I empower managers, leaders and organizations in creative ways. I believe that my training and ability to be in-tune with those that I guide are what help me facilitate their growth. I am also an adjunct professor on the graduate level at Touro College. See more about me on LinkedIn.com.
I use successful therapeutic tools to support, guide and empower therapists, clinical supervisors (who do not get the guidance they need!), managers, leaders, as well as teachers and lawyers who work with difficult populations, including end of life care, foster care, trauma and terminal illness.
