I believe in trust, integrity, honesty, respect, ethics, boundaries, as well as clear communication and expectations.
1. As a Manager and a Leader
I believe that healthy, effective management and leadership is respectful and collaborative. It involves honest feedback and clear expectations about relationships and assigned tasks. It holds both the staff and the manager/leader accountable. It integrates practices of integrity, ethics and meaning. Setting the right tone is key. The combination of my management training and ability to be in-tune with those who I guide are what help me facilitate their growth.
2. As a Therapist, Clinical Supervisor & Mentor
Learning can only happen within a safe, honest supervisor/therapist relationship or a therapist/client partnership. Professional integrity in the work that we do is key. I believe in working collaboratively to help you grow, based on your unique strengths and challenges. I use an integrative approach, based on my training listed below, together with being in-tune with what you are grappling with.
