Strengthening Clinical Supervisory Skills

Good quality supervision requires skill and support. Therapists grow when their supervisor creates a safe space, and knows how to balance the needs for processing, guidance, being heard, as well as for respectful, direct and honest feedback. I provide insight, scope and hands-on skills to learn how to manage this balance and help you feel more confident and grounded as a supervisor. I also provide case consultation/conceptualization to support your role. Clinical supervision can be a creative, energizing process for both the supervisor and therapist, even in clinic settings where administrative demands on the supervisor are high. Whether you are a new or established supervisor, there's always room to grow! I also offer supervision training to your organization.

I believe that the combination of my training and ability to be in-tune with you can help me facilitate your growth.

I believe in trust, integrity, honesty, respect, ethics, boundaries, and clear communication.

Being the container for the therapist's emotions

Relying on the therapist as the barometer in the client session

Setting good boundaries
